Book Your Dream Vacation Home Now and Pay Later

Vrbo and Affirm have teamed up to provide 0% interest financing on potential holiday bookings.

Vrbo® and Affirm, a more open and flexible alternative to credit cards, announced a partnership to enable travelers to book vacation homes now and pay later.

Skilled travelers will now get 0% APR financing when booking a vacation home through VRBO and paying with Affirm for a limited time. This deal is valid for bookings made today through April 11 and includes interest-free payments on Vrbo properties paid with Affirm. Families who pay with Affirm will break down the overall cost of their reservation into monthly installments with no secret or late fees.

According to Vrbo numbers, more than 80% of families have made travel plans for 2021, and they are booking summer vacation homes earlier than ever before. Because of the booking frenzy, many holiday homes’ infamous destinations are fast filling up. Families can now find and book their ideal vacation home for any time in the future with this latest offer, and pay in installments with no interest for the first time.

“Vrbo has been linking families with vacation homes for over 25 years, and now we can give even more value to our customers by being the only vacation rental company that accepts Affirm payments over time. Vrbo Vice President of Product Management Mike Sutter said, “This advantage allows families to plan and book future vacations now and pay for them later.” “The 0% financing deal is timed to coincide with the arrival of spring and all the families ready to reunite after a year apart.”

“When booking travel arrangements, travelers are constantly looking for payment versatility. In reality, according to Silvija Martincevic, Affirm’s Chief Commercial Officer, 54 percent of consumers are interested in using a buy now, pay later solution this year. “Whether booking a road trip or a large family vacation on Vrbo, travelers can now choose Affirm to pay at their own rate, with no hidden fees or ambiguous fine print.”

Affirm is currently available on a limited number of Vrbo properties, which are marked with the Affirm logo during check-out. To find Vrbo properties that give Affirm, click here.

Families should search for travel advisories and restrictions in their vacation destination before making a reservation, and they should always obey health and safety recommendations from health officials and local authorities. More tools and details can be found in this aid post.
